There is an opportunity for a senior interior designer to join ara design in London.
ara design is a long-standing and respected design studio, well-known for its creative and challenging designs at an international level.
We are seeking a strong interior designer to join our team in London. Candidates should have degree level qualifications in design and over five years’ experience of working on high end F&B/hospitality projects.
The successful candidate will be creative, enthusiastic and passionate about exceptional design; have an excellent eye for detail and a can-do attitude. You must be able to manage a varying workload across multiple projects to meet client deadlines. Communication is key and the role requires fluent spoken and written English.
You’ll be contributing to all stages of development from client engagement all the way through to implementation. You will be assisting on the creative stages of design, working together to bring ideas into reality. You will be responsible for leading and working side-to-side with founders of the company.
Skills and experience:
- a degree in interior design or interior architecture
- five years’ experience of working on F&B/hospitality projects
- experience with project management
- AutoCAD skills
- knowledge of FF&E sourcing
- excellent knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office and SketchUp
- good communication and presentation skills
- good conceptual abilities
- show strong signs of self-management and able to be proactive without guidance
- have a full understanding of project processes from concept, design development through to site implementation
- the applicant must have the legal right to work in the UK
