Architectural product manager

Arktura is looking for an architectural product manager to join its team in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The architectural product manager is responsible for the development and execution of Arktura’s new architectural products, systems, marketing and compliance collateral. This is a design and engineering-driven position coupled with finance, manufacturing and strategy.
The ideal candidate is nothing less than dynamic. They must possess strong design sensibilities, be rational and mechanical, abstract and creative, while also having an understanding of the architectural industry (and simultaneously rejecting it). They want to make great design happen, but they also need to understand that great design also meets sustainability criteria and works within European norms.
Hands-on skills are not preferred but are required. The candidates should be good designers who know how to build good designs. The candidates are expected to have experience with CNC fabrication and manufacturing and 3D printing. The candidates need to have a basic foundation in electrical integrations. The candidates should have three to ten years of experience in product development (physical) or architecture.
Arktura’s architectural product manager is chiefly tasked with designing and developing new products and systems, developing the marketing and necessary collateral compliance for taking products to market and preparing new products for mass production or mass customisation.
Skills:
- computation experience is not required, but an awareness of it is important
- able to use Rhino, Grasshopper and Fusion 360
- experienced with using laser cutters, press brakes, CNC milling machines, 3D printers and flat knitting machines.

- experience of successfully taking products to market
- ability to read, speak and write with accuracy and proficiency
- awareness of the most recent changes and trends
