Interior designer

There is a vacancy for an interior designer at spacelab_ in London, UK.
spacelab_ is an exploratory architectural design studio that believes space unites us. We are looking for a junior or intermediate interior designer/design assistant to join us on a full-time permanent basis to work on a range of prestigious and exciting interior commercial projects.
Job description:
- assist with project running duties
- concept development
- FF&E specifications and finishes schedules
- develop project knowledge and technical skills
- assist in the preparation of drawings, presentations and material specifications
- liaising with suppliers and clients to develop specifications and finish creation of presentation visualisations
- work with a team, providing support to other designers
Skills, qualifications and experience:
- BA degree in interior design or similar
- ideally a minimum two years’ professional experience
- a good eye for design, composition, materials and colour
- proficient in Revit, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite advantageous
- an awareness of basic space planning requirements
- good knowledge of interior construction and detailing
- confident to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- fluent in English, verbal and written
Salary: £28k – £35k depending on experience
