Baca Architects are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Part-II architectural assistant to join our friendly team. This is a design-focused opportunity for a talented individual looking to step into a creative and technical role.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional designer with outstanding 3D modelling and visualisation skills, good hand drawing ability, and technical design understanding/experience.
You will be given a high level of responsibility and great opportunities to gain relevant Part-III experience.
We are a young and dynamic multi-award winning practice internationally recognised for our low energy, flood resilient design. We were recently named Urban Design Practice 2016 and have three projects shortlisted for RIBA House of the Year 2016.
New projects you might help the team to develop include eco spa and hotel, a research and development campus, a Commonwealth memorial, flood-resilient housing schemes and one off luxury private houses.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- an outstanding design portfolio
- excellent communication skills – fluent in English, written and spoken
- experience with VectorWorks and BIM (Revit/ArchiCAD)
- excellent Photoshop and InDesign skills
- 3D modelling and visualisation skills, SketchUp and V-Ray
- good hand sketching
- report writing and preparation
- good working knowledge of UK planning and building regulations
- team player and sociable
