Studio McLeod is looking for an Part 2 architectural assistant/qualified architect to join its team in London.

We are looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant with experience in a UK practice or a fully qualified architect who is motivated and has a passion for learning and crafting beautifully sculpted buildings. We are looking for someone who is interested in all aspects of the profession, for example, the interaction of design, making and people. You will be involved in all aspects of our projects, working on mainly residential remodelling schemes and new build houses.
Required skills and experience
Please show evidence of your experience of the following within your portfolio and/or cover letter:
- UK private residential design at all stages
- specification of materials and well-considered detailing
- UK building regulations and technical documentation
Preferred skills and experience:
- fast learner able to adapt to new challenges
- passion and understanding of how things go together
- excellent communication skills
- proactive and confident, working independently and as part of a team
- confident with production drawings
- good presentation skills
- well-organised with good time management skills
- confidence with Vectorworks and Twinmotion is ideal although we will offer training
- proficient in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, Word and Excel
