Undercover Architecture is looking for an experienced and technically aware Part 1/2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.Undercover Architecture is a young and vibrant London-based practice of maverick architects and designers committed to excellence, innovation, attention to detail and strategic thinking. Undercover is a multidisciplinary design firm with studios in London and the Cotswolds, made up of a passionate team of individuals from backgrounds including architecture, interior design, fashion and design publishing.
We are seeking a Part 1/2 architectural assistant to participate in exciting new residential projects. The right applicant will have excellent graphic, design, communication and technical skills. They will need to have experience coordinating with a consultant team, a strong design sensibility and an active interest in sustainable design.
The successful applicant will:
- have previous client-facing experience and strong communication skills
- have an understanding of construction methods and UK building regulations
- be organised and have excellent presentation skills
- have a genuine passion and interest in the residential sector and interior design
- be a team player, able to work efficiently, confidently and professionally in a small team
- have a keen eye for detail
- have an ability to produce tender and construction packages
Required technical skills:
- Vectorworks 2D proficiency essential
- 3D CAD modelling proficiency highly desirable
- retrofit construction knowledge
- Adobe CS proficiency essential
