Part 2 architectural assistant
at Stanesby Architecture
Stanesby Architecture is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join the expanding London-based practice.
We are looking for a dynamic and talented person to work with us on design-led projects. The smaller nature of our practice means that the successful candidate will be given a broad involvement in all project phases and will benefit from an open environment to develop as an architect.
You will have a good knowledge and experience of UK building regulations and planning policy. You will be expected to demonstrate experience in design and construction and a keen interest in working with existing and listed buildings. Previous on-site experience would be a benefit but is not essential.
The role will include both design and operational tasks, and we are looking for candidates with a high level of:
- CAD and IT skills, with proficiency in Vectorworks(2d)/Revit/Adobe Suite/MS Office
- confidence with good communication and presentation skills
- self-motivation and organisational capability
- ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- ability to complete tasks with accuracy and with exemplary attention to detail
In addition, applicants must have:
- fluency in both written and spoken English
- proof of eligibility to work in the UK
