Suzy Hoodless Studio is hiring a procurement coordinator on a full-time basis to join its team in London.
Who we are – the studio
We are a House & Garden top 100 interior design company with long standing client relationships. We are looking for an experienced procurement coordinator to join our award-winning team in successfully delivering projects both locally and internationally.
About
Our design studio has a consistent pipeline of exciting projects from both new to repeat clients in the luxury market. The studio is based in Holland Park and primarily works with high-end residential clients.
The successful candidate will have instant access into a thriving design studio where they will be exposed to all aspects of interior design and work closely alongside Suzy.
Role and responsibilities:
- coordinating the full procurement of items for high end residential projects in UK and overseas
- liaising with all designers to understand their procurement requirements
- experience working closely with the interior design and FF&E teams, creating packages and budgeting for current projects
- finalising purchase details of orders and deliveries
- monitoring the progress of all orders and processing invoices
- dealing with installation companies/suppliers to ensure all goods are delivered in time
- coordinating the installation process onsite and any subsequent snagging
- keeping an overview of all upcoming and existing projects
- organising all global shipping and logistics, including the creation of all documents and import/export procedures
- providing regular updates to head of procurement and the design team on any issues or delays
- managing project budget schedules and reporting to head of procurement
- communicating and negotiating with all trade suppliers
- saving and recording all FF&E certification including any relevant CE or FR documents
- producing O&M manuals
- reconciling all project spend with the finance team
Required skills and experience:
- three-plus years’ experience within a similar in the interior design industry
- good knowledge of procurement and logistics process
- proven experience working with multi-million-pound budgets on national and international residential schemes
- ability to organise and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
- experience using studio designer experience or similar, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe InDesign
- excellent organisational skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once
- confident working individually and as part of a team
- ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
- excellent interpersonal skills, highly-organised, with a positive attitude
