HIR Studio has an opportunity for architectural assistants and interns to join its Hong Kong team.
HIR Studio is seeking creative talents to work as architectural assistants and interior designers in their studio in Hong Kong.
We are a team of architects sharing the passion to create unique and inspiring architecture and spatial designs. We have won numerous awards such as the Reddot Design Award, finalist in the UK Blueprint Award, best installation design award by the Royal Institute of British Architects, Design for Asia Award, Young Architects Award HK 2017, etc.
Role
With guidance from the directors, you will assist the design team with different tasks which include developing designs, producing drawings, making computational/physical models, doing construction coordination, and site inspections.
Skills and attributes:
- bachelor degree or master degree in architecture/interior design
- one-five year post-degree experience or fresh graduates (university/co-op student for internship)
- curious and open-minded about design process
- able to take guidance as well as work independently
- great team player
- good time management skills
- able to communicate design ideas verbally and visually
- fluent user of Adobe CS, Rhino and CAD
- experience with Grasshopper, Revit, V-Ray, Maxwell, Lumion would be advantageous
