Burrell Foley Fischer has an opportunity for a business manager to join its practice in London. 

Burrell Foley Fischer are looking to appoint an experienced business manager to join their team in their London studio.

The ideal candidate will have some previous experience of working with design professionals.

They will:

  • be energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • be able to work in a framework of open communication and collaboration
  • be able to maintain strict confidence, particularly over personnel issues
  • be an excellent team worker, capable of working with people who offer complementary skills
  • have relaxed people skills with high levels of empathy and be able to motivate and influence others
  • be able to talk with confidence and authority to senior people
  • have exceptional organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise and manage a diverse range of tasks, involving different people and different activities both inside and outside the practice – taking either a leading or an active hands-on role as appropriate
  • have knowledge of and interest in delivering financial management and personnel support for an architectural business

Working to achieve the agreed business plan, the business manager will report to the principals. They will be expected to manage all finance, contractual and personnel requirements across the practice.
