Kyle Smart Associates is seeking a senior architect to join its team in Bedfordshire, UK.
We are looking for someone who is a talented designer with the ability, skills and motivation to act as a leader, overseeing an assistant or small team working on multiple projects at the same time.
The role will involve work on a number of complex projects and significant experience of RIBA Stages 1 to 7 is important.
We are looking for someone who has:
- five-plus years post-Part 3 experience and be ARB registered
- strong design and detailing skills
- strong visualisation skills and an eye for presentation
- experience across all RIBA work stages
- experience working effectively with clients and consultant teams
- technical knowledge, of current construction methods with a keen interest in embodied carbon research
- experience of UK regulatory framework including building regulations and CDM
- experience in managing a small team but leading by example
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- proficiency in Vectorworks, Twinmotion and BIM preferred
- car driver is essential as our studio is in the countryside, but our projects are all over the home counties and into London
