JTP has an opportunity for an urban designer to join its team in London.
JTP is an award-winning, international placemaking practice of architects and master planners.
From our studios in London and Bristol, we undertake placemaking projects at every scale, from cities and towns to neighbourhoods, streets and the design of individual buildings.
JTP is creating a number of new neighbourhoods and new settlements at both outline planning and detailed design stages and are looking to recruit an experienced urban designer who is as excited as we are about the creation of new sustainable places.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of post-qualified experience gained in a design practice working on large-scale urban design and master planning projects.
Experience in producing and providing layouts, parameter plans and land budget plans is a requirement for the role. Evidence of report writing for DAS’s and Design Codes is also essential for this role.
The successful candidate will have excellent written, verbal and graphic communication and be proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, CAD and hand drawing.
