Junior architect

Laplace is hiring a junior architect to join its team in Copenhagen.
Laplace is looking for a freelance junior architect/interior designer with an absolute minimum of three to five years’ of professional experience to assist our project manager based in Copenhagen.
The candidate will work in retail or residential, will mainly assist our Copenhagen project manager and collaborate remotely with team members at our Paris office.
Our workplace is located in Republikken, Vesterbrogade.
We are looking for a qualified architect who:
- has a unique vision and flair for design and innovation
- has a passion for interior architecture and design
- has an interest for residential projects, internal fit-outs and custom-made furniture and material selection
- has excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, Enscape and Photoshop
- has experience producing drawing packages
- is competent in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office in order to complete graphic visualizations for final presentations
- has experience producing various schedules including finishes, plumbing, electrical, appliances etc.
- can communicate with suppliers and consultants
- should be able to manage its own time and workload responsibly and efficiently
- is confident, organised, attentive to details, proactive and always eager to learn more in a very demanding and exciting work environment
- has preferably experience in US projects
Employment requirements:
- has an EU passport
- lives in Copenhagen
- fluent in English mandatory. Proficiency in French or Spanish a plus but not absolutely required
- ready to start as a freelancer on 5 August
