Real Studios has an opportunity for an interior designer to join its practice in London. 

Real Studios is looking for a motivated, skilled and experienced interior designer to join our team. We are a bespoke exhibition and interior design studio, always striving to push the boundaries of communication, both visually and intellectually, to deliver exciting and contemporary spaces.

Overview

This will be a fixed term contract for six to nine months for a specific phase of the project with a possibility for extension. Applicants would ideally be available for an immediate start.

Key skills required:

  • a minimum of two year’s professional experience in high-end interior design / exhibition design
  • confident using AutoCAD, and SketchUp or other visualisation tools
  • confident using Adobe and other presentation packages
  • have good spoken and written English and a sound writing ability
  • ability to manage time effectively, oversee a number of tasks simultaneously
  • professional curiosity

Tasks will include/but not be limited to:

  • working on concept , scheme and detail design packages
  • detailing of furniture items, scheduling of FF&E
  • input into creation and delivering of presentations
  • input into project management

Personal attributes:

  • keen eye for detail and a thorough work ethic
  • confident with the administrative aspects of design
  • adaptable, flexible and able to work within a small/medium company
  • amicable personal with drive to succeed and lots of initiative
