Real Studios has an opportunity for an interior designer to join its practice in London.
Real Studios is looking for a motivated, skilled and experienced interior designer to join our team. We are a bespoke exhibition and interior design studio, always striving to push the boundaries of communication, both visually and intellectually, to deliver exciting and contemporary spaces.
Overview
This will be a fixed term contract for six to nine months for a specific phase of the project with a possibility for extension. Applicants would ideally be available for an immediate start.
Key skills required:
- a minimum of two year’s professional experience in high-end interior design / exhibition design
- confident using AutoCAD, and SketchUp or other visualisation tools
- confident using Adobe and other presentation packages
- have good spoken and written English and a sound writing ability
- ability to manage time effectively, oversee a number of tasks simultaneously
- professional curiosity
Tasks will include/but not be limited to:
- working on concept , scheme and detail design packages
- detailing of furniture items, scheduling of FF&E
- input into creation and delivering of presentations
- input into project management
Personal attributes:
- keen eye for detail and a thorough work ethic
- confident with the administrative aspects of design
- adaptable, flexible and able to work within a small/medium company
- amicable personal with drive to succeed and lots of initiative
