Senior architect
at IAPA Design
IAPA Design is seeking a senior architect to join its team in Guangzhou, China.
Main responsibilities:
- assist the project architect throughout all design and construction phases to ensure the delivery of high-quality architectural projects
Position requirements:
- a bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture
- a minimum of three years’ experience in site management and construction administration
- proficiency in both new construction and adaptive reuse projects
- strong familiarity with schematic design, exceptional skills in design development and experience with early construction document preparation
- must understand the workflow, communication and documentation requirements for all design and construction phases, ensuring the continuity and integrity of the concept and schematic design under the guidance of the project architect
- ability to work both collaboratively and independently during the schematic and design development phases, with the capability to coordinate with LDI and consultants to achieve integrated design
- proficient in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
- a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- priority will be given to native English speakers or bilingual candidates
