Landscape architect
at R-LA
R-LA is looking for a junior landscape architect to join its London team.
R-LA are currently engaged in a variety of very exciting projects from concept design through to construction. R-LA’s projects include large-scale podium deck residential, public realm, education and high-end private schemes.
We are looking for a passionate landscape architect with great graphic skills, experience in hard and soft landscape detailing and the ability to resolve design constraints in a creative manner.
You will have a postgraduate degree in landscape architecture and have at least one to two years’ experience working for a landscape practice in the UK. Your wide ranging responsibilities will include day to day managing projects, delivering planning application design packages, detailing construction design, detailing planting plans, attending construction sites and liaising with the design team. You must be eligible to work in the UK.
Software expertise:
- AutoCAD essential (Revit would be an advantage)
- Adobe Suite essential
- SketchUp
Required skills:
- excellent written and spoken English
- demonstrable technical construction design ability
- UK plant knowledge
- knowledge of relevant UK building regulations
- creative design flair from sketch concepts to technical detailing
We work in a supportive and creative modern studio environment in the heart of Clerkenwell’s design quarter.
Position: permanent
