Sybarite are looking for a highly creative and talented senior designer to work on large scale luxury retail projects in China. Based in our west London penthouse, you will work within a multidisciplinary project team to design and realise projects for the most innovative retail operator in the world.

About the role
Sybarite is embarking on a period of transformative change around an expanding portfolio of architecture projects. This is a key role within the project team that will focus on space planning and base build on large-scale luxury retail projects located in China (ranging from 150,000 – 800,000 sqm) from Concept Design to completion.
As a key team member, you will balance design, technical ability and efficiency to deliver cohesive architectural projects that are aesthetically innovative and technically feasible.
About you:
- RIBA ARB Part 3 or equivalent
- proficient Revit user.
Requirements:
- Mandarin speaking is preferable
- minimum eight years’ of architectural design experience delivering mixed-use projects globally, with specific project experience in China
- able to confidently assist the associate in the design and production of interior or architectural projects within the office
- able to confidently take responsibility in leading SD and DD package delivery
- responsible for LDI and external consultant coordination
- superb communication skills, naturally igniting great rapport and adapting style to all levels
- Rhino, Enscape and AutoCAD are beneficial
- consider the relationship between creativity and technical design as fluid
- collaborative with other disciplines such as interior design, installation and branding
