Atelier Brückner is hiring a junior interior designer to join its team in Stuttgart, Germany.
Atelier Brückner is a leading design studio specialising in museums and exhibitions, architecture, Expo pavilions, as well as brand and visitor centres. Our international portfolio includes projects such as the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the Museum of London, and the Germanic National Museum.
As a general planner, we cover all design phases and disciplines – from exhibition design and architecture to scenography, graphics, lighting, media, and content. Guided by our philosophy “form follows content”, we create spatial narratives that transform content into immersive experiences, taking visitors on a journey through space and story.
Job description
Atelier Brückner offers a job for an interior architect/designer who loves planning, detailing and realising great concepts for Interiors across the World. We are looking for an ambitious, open-minded person with a passion for design and realization and a very good knowledge of German and English (other foreign languages are an advantage).
Start as soon as possible. Working place is Stuttgart, Germany. Travels to the project venues will take place.
Your tasks:
- collaboration in the design process of interesting interior spaces for national/international projects
- planning and development across all design stages – from concept and detail planning to tendering, on-site supervision, and documentation – for national and international interior and exhibition projects
- collaboration within our in-house interdisciplinary design team and coordination with all project stakeholders
- close collaboration with external planning partners and contractors throughout the project phases
- communication with client and other project stakeholders
Your profile:
- successfully completed university studies in the field of interior design / architecture
- minimum of two years’ of experience as an interior designer/ architect of international exhibition design in all design stages including detail planning, tender and construction
- strong design sensibility for interiors and materials, as well as excellent visualisation and presentation skills
- good planning abilities, a strong technical understanding, and enthusiasm for details
- proficiency in 3D modelling and visualisation skills is an advantage
- absolutely fluent in English both in writing and speech; other languages skills welcome
- proficiency in our CAD, graphic and standard office programmes (VectorWorks 2D, ArchiCad, Rhino 3D, Adobe, MS Office on Mac)
- interest in international and interdisciplinary interior, exhibition design, scenography and architecture based on the idea of “form follows content”
- flexible, open-minded personality
- team player with strong organisational skills, a structured approach, and a reliable work ethic
- highly motivated, energetic, resilience and sense of responsibility
- willingness to travel
