Part 2 architectural assistant

Brick Architects is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant or architectural technologist to join its team in Hertfordshire, UK.
Full time, hybrid working, Hertfordshire studio.
Our portfolio has expanded significantly and we’re looking for an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant or architectural technologist with at least two years’ experience in practice.
You will have the opportunity to work across our entire range of projects, joining our small growing team, your responsibilities will encompass:
- project visualisations and concepts
- preparation of drawings, schedules and specifications
- producing planning application drawings
- producing detailed design information for building regulation applications, tender and construction
- conducting surveys, liaising with clients, structural engineers and other consultants
Essential skills/qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Part 2 qualified, or equivalent Architectural Technology degree with at least 2 year post degree working in practice
- proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and ideally SketchUp and Revit
- a creative thinker with interest in concept and detail design
- evidence of detailed design and any delivery of projects on site advantageous
- a good understanding of building regulations
- excellent communication and organisational skills
- residential experience
- experience in planning applications
- has an interest in working in a small growing practice.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
