Due to the continued growth of the practice, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects spanning RIBA Stages 1–6. Fatkin is a small practice working on major projects across the country for public bodies, developers, contractors and consultancies, enabling us to provide all team members with direct exposure to many aspects of the construction industry.

The role

We are a collaborative, design-led practice with a friendly and supportive studio culture. Our work focuses on delivering thoughtful, well-crafted, highly functional buildings and infrastructure with social value, and we aim to support our staff in developing both technically and professionally.

Our requirements:

  • Part 1 qualification (or equivalent)
  • experience of using Revit
  • strong visual and graphic communication skills
  • professional working proficiency in written and spoken English
  • the right to work in the UK

We are looking for someone who is proactive, curious and keen to learn, and who enjoys working collaboratively within a team. An interest in transport, infrastructure and complex environments would be advantageous, and ideally you’ll be looking for a role for at least 12 months.

Working pattern and benefits

For this role, we’re looking for a full time (40 hours/week) employee to join the team. You’ll be expected to spend the majority of your time in person in the office in order to maximise your learning, with flexibility around exact hours. Occasional working from home may be possible once you’ve settled in.

We offer competitive terms and a friendly, inclusive working environment.

Equality, diversity and inclusion

Fatkin is an equal opportunities employer and we are proud of our diverse team. We actively encourage applications from underrepresented backgrounds and from those with non-linear career paths.

Applicants are invited to complete a voluntary and confidential equality and diversity monitoring survey, used solely to support fair recruitment in line with the Equality Act 2010.

How to apply

Please submit your CV, a brief covering letter outlining your experience and interest in Fatkin, and a portfolio (maximum 10MB) via the “apply for job” button. We are happy to answer questions prior to application.

We will acknowledge all applications and may offer detailed feedback upon request. We don’t use AI to assess applications.
