There is an opportunity for an interior designer at weico architects in Beijing.

Job description

Under the guidance of the principal architect and design director, independently lead interior design projects throughout the design process, with a primary focus on concept and schematic design for offices, exhibition spaces, and large-scale public interiors. Contribute to design development and provide design solutions during the construction documentation phase.

Qualifications:

• bachelor’s degree or above in architecture, interior design, or a related field. Candidates with an architectural background are preferred
• at least three years of experience as a key member of an interior design team at an internationally recognized design firm, with proven experience in large-scale public projects and practical experience in on-site construction coordination
• strong aesthetic sensibility and form-making skills, with the ability to critically evaluate spatial functions and develop well-reasoned design solutions
• high personal standards, strong learning ability, a collaborative mindset, and excellent self-management, teamwork, and communication skills, both internally and externally
• a good understanding of weico’s design methodology and studio culture
• proficiency in Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant 2D/3D design, rendering, and animation software
• strong English proficiency, with the ability to use English confidently in design software and written professional communication
