Part 2 architectural assistant

Tonkin Liu is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
We are an innovative London-based architecture studio with a highly acclaimed portfolio of finely crafted buildings, landmark public sculptures and regenerative urban landscapes. We are the recipient of 15 RIBA Awards, the 2018 Stephen Lawrence Prize, and a RIBA Role Model practice.
We are currently designing a 40m tall tower artwork for Manchester city centre, an extension to the Grade II* Listed Lansdowne Club, an exhibition design for the Barbican, a large-scale lighting installation for Weymouth’s iconic promenade, and a landmark retail pavilion in Paddington Basin. Projects under construction include a public sculpture in Doe Lea, a conversion of a water tower into a home, and a library and dance studio comprising two ground-breaking plywood shell structures.
Required skills:
- advanced 2D and 3D draughtsmanship: Vectorworks and Rhino preferred
- high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- proven experience in construction detailing
- ability to work imaginatively and rigorously, both independently and in a team
- fluency in written and verbal English
- minimum two years’ experience in a UK architecture practice
