Post Part-II architectural assistant
MAA Architects is seeking a Post Part-II architectural assistant for its office in Teddington, London.
MAA Architects is a design-led practice based at the multi-disciplinary Boathouse Design studio, on the banks of the River Thames at Teddington Lock.
We are currently recruiting a post Part-II architectural assistant to work on a variety of exciting new projects from RIBA stages one-six. We use AECOsim and MicroStation PowerDraft. Knowledge of this software is desirable, although full training will be given. The successful candidate should have at least two years’ experience in UK construction projects up to and exceeding an overall project value of £10m.
MAA is a social, integrated practice and we are seeking a grounded and involved individual who is excited by the prospect of working and creating in a team-led environment. The successful candidate will be working closely with the project architects and associates on a variety of schemes, and will be given the opportunity to develop and hone both their design and technical skills, and also lead smaller sized projects.
The practice also enjoys weekly communal lunches, sketch club, run club, yoga, table tennis and cycling in the nearby Richmond Park.
