BEAMY is looking for a senior designer to join its studio in Shanghai, China.

Delivering creative work of the highest standard, your priority is to develop a clear understanding of the proposal and to highlight and pre-empt issues that may arise. Reporting to the creative director, you provide intelligent and refreshing design solutions from project to project and ensuring deadlines and project timelines are met.

What’s required:

• five to seven years’ experience predominantly in branding and packs environment (candidates with lesser experience will be considered for the designer role)
• fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin
• whiz at creating visual identity and systems
• high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote and MS Office
• excellent knowledge in stocks, material, fabrication techniques, printing and press runs
• good presentation skills and a team player who can also work independently
• lead and mentor juniors
• possess a creative flair, excellent design and typographic skills
• self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• knowledge in 3D software, web and social media platforms an advantage
