LTS Architects is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London, UK.
Position: Part 2 architectural assistant
Purpose of job: to assist project teams in the development of architectural design and production on a diverse range of projects
Qualifications: first degree with RIBA Part 1 exemption, or other equivalent standard. Diploma in Architecture with RIBA Part 2 exemption
LTS Architects are an award-winning studio of designers based in Bermondsey. The practice has extensive experience working on a diverse body of projects, and is currently working on a varied sector portfolio of higher education, cultural and civic, social housing and private residential work.
We are currently seeking a talented Part 2 architectural assistant to join our team.
The right candidate will have the following combination of skills and experience:
- a minimum of one years’ professional experience, more experience is preferential
- excellent three-dimensional modelling skills
- excellent graphical representational and visualisation skills
- knowledge of standard graphics software, such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is essential
- knowledge of VRay, Sketchup, AutoCAD and Rhino would be advantageous,
- experience in architectural detailing and preparation of production information
- proficiency in Revit is desired
Candidates should be highly motivated, with excellent communication and organisational skills in addition to excellent design focus, an eye for detail and a willingness to learn.
The role will consist of a diverse scope of responsibilities across all stages of architectural design and production, working under the supervision of project architects and directors. There will be future opportunities to gain on-site experience which can be furthered into Part 3 accreditation.
