Levitt Bernstein is seeking a bid manager to join its studio in London.
Levitt Bernstein is an award-winning, design-led architectural practice of 125 people with offices in London and Manchester, working on a broad range of projects across all sectors.
We are looking for a bid manager to lead the bid process, working with the directors and senior team, on the selection, coordination and writing of bids and submissions, working closely with the bid coordinator.
The role is as follows:
- lead and coordinate bid selection process, working closely with the bid coordinator to oversee each from selection to submission
- align bid selection with business development goals
- research bid opportunities and gather business intelligence in relation to business development targets
- lead on the copywriting and editing of bids and submissions
- proofread and edit others’ copy to ensure clear, consistent and accurate responses
- review all submissions in relation to bid requirements
- evaluate and report on our success rates
- develop and refine our submission documentation and coordinate other relevant practice information
- ensure all documents conform to the practice’s brand guidelines
- liaise with communications team in relation to business development
Skills:
- knowledge of the construction industry’s procurement processes
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- experience of managing the bid process
- high-level of accuracy and attention to detail
- proven ability to meet deadlines and work effectively with teams in a busy and sometimes high-pressure environment
- interest in and knowledge of the architecture sector and culture
- knowledge of Adobe InDesign advantageous, but not essential
