The Nanz Company is seeking a sales assistant to join its team in London.

Company description

We are a well established and growing bespoke ironmongery company with locations throughout the world. Our product is American made at our state of the art factory in New York using a wide variety of manufacturing methods and finishing techniques. We are seeking a career-oriented person to fill this exciting and challenging position.

The ideal candidate will be career-oriented and have:

• knowledge of or interest in interior design and/or architecture
• committed, disciplined and proven track record in sales support role
• outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Thought process should be organized and one should be able to communicate clearly with employees
• an experienced multi-tasker who can manage a wide variety of tasks with the ability to shift focus based on changing priorities
• flexible and highly adaptive to meet department needs. Will be responsible for meeting tight deadlines and working outside of scheduled hours as needed
• diplomatic and positive. Will need to interact with multiple departments within the company. Will need to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• reliable and dedicated. Must be committed to meeting and exceeding both client and company needs
• professional, yet personable and friendly demeanor
• graceful under pressure

Responsibilities include:

• review floor plans and schedules to drafting estimates and proposals using proprietary software
• supporting sales team members on an as-needed basis
• answering phones, packaging samples, attending to showroom needs
• organising sales meeting and preparing products for meeting
• develop thorough product knowledge and become an expert on how product is manufactured, maintained and what our customisation options are
• maintaining sample catalogue across various showrooms
• work with sales team to meet and exceed yearly sales goals

Qualifications:

• preferably one year experience in a sales assistant role
