Studio Unltd is looking for an intermediate designer to work on hospitality projects at its studio in Los Angeles, USA.
Studio Unltd, an award-winning interior design firm located in Downtown Los Angeles, is currently seeking a diligent and creative intermediate designer (interior or architectural) to assist with a variety of restaurant/hospitality projects.
Position will begin on a short-term (three-month) contract basis with payroll employment thereafter if both parties are satisfied.
The minimum requirements for the candidate:
- bachelors degree in interior design or architecture from an accredited institution
- must have three plus years’ of commercial design office employment. Hospitality experience is a plus
- experience in developing construction documents, including detailing, for multiple projects
- demonstrate attention to detail and organizational skills
- exhibit strong design/concept ability
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- demonstrate the ability to manage projects
- strong interest and grasp on lighting design a plus
- must be flexible to work independently and as a team
- skills; AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, Word and Excel and hand sketching. Additional 3D rendering skills, such as V-Ray, are a plus
- strong sourcing knowledge for materials and FF&E required
