Johannes Torpe Studios is looking for an experienced project manager/industrial design lead to join its team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Project-based position – six months plus.

At Johannes Torpe Studios we work with an interdisciplinary team focus, combining multiple areas of expertise to engage in ‘holistic’ design. Our design style is not so much of a style, but more of an approach. Our studio’s primary focus is in creating experiences through storytelling and building environments for clients and brands – both physically and emotionally. We work with the brand at the core and delve into the visions, goals and DNA of the companies we work with to create design solutions that fulfill a specific purpose.

You are:

• curious by nature
• creative and confident in concept development and bringing ideas to the table
• equipped with an eye for attention to detail and understanding project management
• self-motivated and able to work independently but also collaboratively in a team
• used to keeping deadlines and deliveries

You have:

• a master’s degree in the relevant field
• at least some years of professional experience within leading projects
• ability to present design solutions to stakeholders and company executives, defend design decisions and incorporate feedback into the design cycle
• ability to mentor, grow and guide your product design team, working with each designer to develop their skills. You will challenge the team to think beyond the expected
• fluent in English
