CDS is seeking a Part 3 architect project lead/senior architectural technician to join its team in London.

CDS LLP is a  well-established architecture studio based in Soho, London, specialising in the design and construction of prefabricated high-rise buildings alongside an experienced in-house construction team. Building projects encompass a range of high-quality residential and large student / co-living and hotel schemes.

CDS is seeking a Part 3 architect/architectural technologist with minimum five years’ Revit proficiency and experience leading project teams.

Essential requirements

Proficiency working on large scale mixed-use residential and commercial schemes including:

  • preparation of detailed technical drawings and specifications for regulatory approvals
  • preparation of drawings for tender and construction
  • preparation of detailed schedules of materials and finishes
  • coordination between primary MEP/structural consultants
  • knowledge of building regulations and standards
  • advanced knowledge of Revit including ability to create construction/working drawings using Revit
  • strong and clear communication skills
  • a high level of accuracy in design and technical work
  • minimum five years’ post-Part 3 or equivalent
  • experience leading a team and coordinating Stage 4 and 5 technical packages

The successful applicant must have a positive attitude with proven proficiency working collaboratively within a team setting, a strong work ethic and a solid ability to work with accuracy and take responsibility for their own work. The applicant must be self-motivated, capable of contributing to project delivery and coordination across multiple workstreams,  with demonstrable experience in coordinating packages and managing day-to-day design and technical queries, a clear and professional approach to delivering work within a fast-paced project environment, and hold a clear ambition to grow with the firm.
