PLP Architecture is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.

Salary – £33,800 per annum

We are seeking talented and motivated Part 2 architectural assistant to work with us in our London-based studio. 

The successful applicant will possess a relevant architectural degree and be at least Part 2 qualified or equivalent with relevant architectural experience. The applicant must have a proven background in the education, residential and mixed-use sectors, with excellent drafting skills and large scale project experience.

Responsibilities will include supporting architect teams, throughout the production of sections, layouts, elevations, working drawings, construction drawings and detailing. Tasks will also include basic model making, 3D & 2D drawing, preparing schedules and assisting teams prepare for presentations.

Key skills:

  • strong design and presentation skills
  • experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, V-Ray, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper
  • excellent design skills and good visual (2D and 3D) sketching
  • ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • a willingness to take on-board constructive criticism and adapt accordingly
  • ability to find creative solutions to problems
  • good organisational skills
  • ability to work well as a team
  • excellent written and spoken English
