Part-I/II architectural assistant
IID Architects is looking for a talented graduate to join its busy and friendly studio.
We are an award-winning practice based in Richmond with an established reputation in education, masterplanning and community work. This has been recognised by shortlistings for an RIBA Award in 2016 and BD Education Architect of the Year – nursery to 6th form in 2017.
Our practice is thoughtfully balanced with a low turnover of staff – we take pride in home growing talent and each year support Part-I and II students through their practical training and professional examinations. This creates an atmosphere of fresh and innovative thinking balanced with experience and objectivity.
The ideal candidate will be RIBA Part-I/II qualified/ equivalent) with excellent design, organisational and communication skills. Proficiency over a range of software particularly Autodesk Revit and Photoshop is essential, together with a clear understanding of the concepts of BIM. We have been using BIM software – Autodesk Revit since 2001 and are working on projects to BIM Level two.
