Dorin & Coppel is seeking a showroom sales manager/interior designer to join its Indor showroom in London.
Indor (a brand of Dorin & Coppel) is looking for a showroom sales manager/interior designer to join our vibrant All Saints Road, Notting Hill design studio and home decor showroom. The position available is open to a hard-working individual looking for an exciting opportunity within a growing small scale design-focused team, working closely with the director of the business, our clients, a team of designers and a team of specialists manufacturers.
The role involves working both in our Notting Hill showroom (for interior product sales and order management) and part of the design studio (for customer own projects). The role includes working with our design team on bespoke order projects, in-house designs using products from our showroom and working on bespoke furniture and joinery orders. Experience with showroom sales and fulfilling furniture orders is required.

The role involves working from Tuesday/Wednesday – Saturday and open to discussion on hours and days.
The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
- sales experience and working with furniture/interior product orders within a showroom environment
- ability to work on order management, contact our suppliers and manage any order returns, disputes, and customer issues. Produce bespoke quotations, and convert all sales
- ability to process orders and coordinate with customers and suppliers
- ability to manage one-off design events in the showroom, guest lists, marketing events and art shows is preferred
- design skills for working on our bespoke interior design projects, specifically for; joinery, furniture, lighting, curtains, and FF&E
- ability to design in 2D CAD for our joinery and furniture design proposals is preferred
- ability to work in Excel/InDesign to create interior design specifications/schedules is preferred
- good conceptualisation skills along with good FF&E skills
- should be commercially aware, with the ability to work within budgets and to tight deadlines on bespoke orders
- good knowledge and understanding of materials and products
- confident client-facing skills
- be able to follow instruction but have the confidence and ability to work independently
- passion and enthusiasm for design and culture, strong organisational skills, demonstrate self-initiative and enthusiasm
- an extremely confident individual with excellent communication skills – written and verbal – especially when dealing with clients written and spoken English skills are essential for this position
- experience of working directly with the clients, consultants and suppliers
- must have a full UK working Visa, or full working permits if necessary
- very well organised, self-motivated and pro-active individual who can work to tight deadlines, budgets and deliver on the interior design works
