Squire and Partners is seeking a graphic designer to become part of its team in London.

Squire and Partners has an opening to join the illustration team for a talented and motivated graphic designer passionate about architecture.

You will act as brand guardian for the firm and be responsible for all in-house collateral, ensuring a high quality output is achieved across all channels.

This is a rewarding and varied role for a graphic designer looking to join a close knit practice and make their mark.

The role will include the following:

• working with the illustration, PR and architect teams
• creating, updating and maintaining a series of pro forma templates to be used across the office
• creating project brochures from templates for the architects and providing design assistance where needed
• working on improving layout of presentation material and brochures, suggesting improvements and designing alternate layouts
• sourcing imagery, developing and researching concepts, designing or working with existing layout templates, developing concepts and submitting for client approval
• overseeing final production of bid submission documents where required
• liaising with our outside print agency to obtain best quality print publications at the best value
• technical support for InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator across the office
• preparing artwork for branding and signage packages

Skills and experience required:

• outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Adobe CS5 (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• excellent organisational skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines
• exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency
• ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with clients and colleagues
• excellent eye for layout and design
• experience in designing, developing and using templates
• print production experience
• relevant experience working in a corporate in-house design/presentation/document preparation environment (architecture experience highly regarded)
• good at problem-solving and a quick learner
• familiarity with the architectural design process
• minimum qualifications; BA in graphic design or equivalent
