VOGT Landscape Architects is a leading landscape architectural practice with offices in Zurich, London, Berlin, and Paris. For our London office, we are seeking to recruit a creative and diligent senior landscape architect, with minimum eight years of professional experience, of which at least four years as a project manager, with an interest in working in a design-focused, international office. A degree in landscape architecture is required, however we also welcome architects and designers with a strong sensibility for landscape architecture.
The candidate will have a well-structured and proactive approach to their work, with experience across all work stages from concept design to construction and demonstrated ability to lead and mentor design teams on projects of varying size and complexity.
In the role of senior landscape architect/project manager, the candidate will be responsible for design development and coordination with the design team and consultants, and managing client communication. The candidate will also be responsible for managing project budgets and resources as well as the day-to-day project scheduling.
Whilst experience across all project stages is required, there is a particular focus on technical design during the later project stages and experience in supervising construction sites is essential. The candidate will be thoroughly familiar with current computer software programs, in particular AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite, BIM experience would be beneficial. They should work in a well-structured, precise and reliable manner, take a keen interest in their work and be confident in working in a fast-paced environment.
