Experienced Part 3 architect

ZCD Architects is seeking an experienced Part 3 architect to join its practice in east London.
This candidate should have a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience in the UK and an enthusiasm to nurture and support others.

This job offers a unique opportunity to lead on a range of projects including small and medium-size buildings, urban design and master planning, engagement and policy work. We are looking for an architect with project-running experience who is keen to diversify and motivated to bridge the gap between architecture and social principles. You will be a confident presenter, with strong design skills, ability to network and to work on number of projects at a range of scales at any time. There will be scope to shape your own role and you will have voice in the development of the office.
You will have the chance to be involved in projects at all stages ranging from engagement and concept stage through construction.
We are keen to meet Part 3 candidates with:
- strong design and graphics skills
- proven experience in detailing and ability to coordinate a construction package
- sound knowledge of UK statutory regulations
- excellent communication and writing skills
- confidence to deal directly with clients, design team and contractors
- motivation to be part of research and engagement projects, working with communities and young people
