Figure/Ground Architects is seeking experienced Part 3 architects or Part 2 assistant architects to join its practice in London.
Figure/Ground Architects is an award-winning, design-driven practice looking for passionate, highly motivated, energetic and experienced Part 3 and Part 2 assistant architects to work with us on a range of challenging and intellectually stimulating projects.
Successful candidates will have previous experience of residential mixed-use schemes in the United Kingdom. We require collaborative team players with exceptional design, communication and organisational skills – people able to form strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
Successful architect candidates will demonstrate superior technical knowledge and an obsessive commitment to beautiful detailing, along with a track record of leading teams and delivering projects through RIBA Stages 4-7. Experience in producing working drawing packages and NBS specifications is essential.
Successful assistant architect candidates will have superlative graphic presentation skills (including hand drawing) and a minimum of one year post-Part 2 experience.
We are a small practice with huge ambition and all roles will require flexibility, nimbleness of mind and a willingness to pitch in when needs must. Critical thinking, diligence, a sense of humour and a good work ethic are essential attributes.
Revit proficiency is prerequisite, along with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup and Microsoft Office.
MicroStation experience will be a distinct advantage.
Excellent spoken and written English is imperative and applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK.
