Experienced Part 2/3 architect

Unagru is seeking an experienced Part 2/3 architect to become part of its team in London.
We want to meet an aspiring project architect to join our team in east London.
Unagru is a young practice based in Dalston with a growing portfolio of private residential, commercial and mixed-use projects. With a varied background in urbanism, sustainable landscape design and architecture, we are now looking to expand our portfolio to include public projects. We share an office space in Dalston with other young architecture firms. We also share ideas, samples, and often go to lectures together.
We are looking for a self-starter with the ambition to become a leader in the practice, and will work to make it grow and diversify.
The ideal candidate:
- has a proven record of design proficiency, and a real passion for architecture, architecture theory, and construction
- is confident working independently and able to collaborate effectively in a project team through all design phases
- has exceptional attention to detail
The basics
You will be working on two high-end residential architectural projects. At the same time, you will take part in preparing competition entries and design concepts for new projects. You will be responsible for producing work to the client brief and assist the director in making sure that your projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by working on medium and small, high-quality projects in collaboration with the senior staff. You will gradually acquire the expertise and knowledge to coordinate and manage residential projects by attending site visits, assisting during the conceptual design stages, and leading during the final design and detailing stages.
Skills and experience:
- Part 2 or recently qualified Part 3 with at least two years of work experience
- you will have exceptional conceptual design and technical design ability
- you will have developed an understanding of the architectural projects’ design approach and workflow
- you will manage your time, be responsible for their projects
- you will be confident talking to people at all levels, and ready to jump on a call or site visit to solve a problem
- a minimum one year of working experience on Autodesk Revit – two years would be preferable. Please do not apply otherwise. Proficiency in the Adobe Suite and Autodesk AutoCAD
- excellent spoken and written communication in English

Salary: £28-33k depending on experience
