Greig and Stephenson Architects is seeking Part 1 architectural assistants to join its team in London.
Greig and Stephenson Architects are looking for talented Part I architectural assistants interested in a challenging and varied experience in a structured learning environment.
As a Part 1 architectural assistant, you will assist on a range of bids, feasibility studies, concept and detailed designs for projects largely centered around public markets, which also include the potential for public realm design, offices and residential.
This current advert is to allow you to apply for a Part 1 position to begin in September 2020.
Applicants must demonstrate an enthusiasm to learn along with excellent design and graphic communication skills. An interest in placemaking, as well as architecture, is important and a good understanding of design software packages.
Key requirements for candidates:
- RIBA Part 1 qualified and preferably already have some experience of working within a UK practice
- proficiency in AutoCAD
- proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and SketchUp
- experience in 3D rendering packages would be desirable
- good written and verbal communication skills
- the ability to work independently as well as within a team
- good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
Salary will be determined on the individual’s experience level.
