Makower Architects is seeking an architect with residential delivery experience to join its team in London.
Candidates must have two to five years’ post-Part 3 experience delivering large scale projects from detail design to completion. The successful candidate will work on large scale residential projects in varying stages, from tender to construction. Applicants must demonstrate strong technical and design skills.
The right candidate must meet the following primary criteria:
- experience delivering large scale residential projects in the UK
- thorough knowledge of Revit/BIM
- RIBA Stages 3, 4 and 5 experience
- technical knowledge and skills
- tender documents and construction detailing and documentation
- knowledge of building regulations and new Part B
- experience working with NHBC
- experience working with NBS specifications
- knowledge of and experience in standard residential exterior brick cladding system is an advantage
- knowledge of and experience in standard British Gypsum drylining details is an advantage
- good spoken and written English
