Louise Jones Interiors is seeking a friendly and experienced junior interior designer to join its team in London.
Role: junior interior designer
Location: South Kensington, London
Start date: as soon as possible
We are looking for a friendly and hardworking junior to join our team in London where we specialise in high-end residential interior design. We’re a small team of very busy designers and are hoping for someone who can provide efficient, experienced and friendly support across the multitude of exciting projects that we are working across around the world.
The successful candidate will be:
- highly organised and detail-oriented
- proficient in Vectorworks, Esti Mac (or Esti PC) and Microsoft suite
- competent, with good experience working on residential projects, ideally for over one year
- focused, calm and friendly, with a willingness to chip in and support a small team of busy designers
- fluent in English both verbal and written
Essential skills and experience will include:
- creating 2D CAD drawings of site plans and elevations
- creation and management of schedules in Excel
- filing and file management
- sourcing of materials and products and securing quotes
- ordering, from approved quotes
- taking and producing detailed minutes from design meetings
- creating detailed, neat presentation boards for client meetings
