Interior designer
at Watershedd
Watershedd is hiring an interior designer with relevant experience in residential projects to join its team either based in its London office or Cornwall.
Watershedd is a unique design-led architecture and development company based in London and working on high-end new-build houses and refurbishments for coastal and country homes across the UK. We are looking for an ambitious team member to join us in the studio with relevant experience in delivering residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- producing design presentations and mood boards for new and ongoing projects
- producing internal elevations and sketches to present design ideas to clients
- sourcing of materials, samples, fixtures & fittings including options
- preparation of schedules and drawings for pricing and construction
- attending on-site meetings and managing queries as required
Skills:
- creative – demonstrable examples of creative designs in particular high-end residential
- technical – demonstrable examples of technical drawings
- project management – the ability to work on simultaneous projects with a quick turnaround of thorough, detailed, accurate drawings
- teamwork – we work very much as a team and make decisions together. It is important that you enjoy working as part of a team and individually when required
- self-motivated to learn and develop
- fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and a CAD drawing package, preferably Vectorworks, or a willingness to learn
