Allies and Morrison is seeking a communications specialist to join its team in London.

We are looking to recruit a new individual to join our communications team, based in London. Part coordinator, part curator, part creative, the role will support and advance the practice’s communications strategy across a range of activities. As part of a small, but highly visible team, you will work with individuals across our practice and with organisations and collaborators externally. 

Your work will support our:

  • press and PR
  • social media
  • intranet
  • events and studio exhibitions
  • publications and lectures
  • client presentations

The role will involve administration of the practice’s busy communications programme with scope to generate original content and contribute ideas. The position reports to the director leading our communications team.

We’re looking for someone proactive and well-rounded. You must be adept in Adobe creative suite and comfortable using online tools such as WordPress and social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram. The ability to write well and a keen visual sense are essential. We’re looking for someone well-organised, a self-starter who enjoys design and is interested in architectural culture and/or urbanism. The role may also suit someone interested in or has experience in curation or journalism. 

We are based in our own purpose-built design studios in Bankside, London and have studios in Cambridge, Dublin, Liverpool and Manchester. We are an equal opportunities employer.
