twentytwentyone is seeking an assistant manager to join its team in London.
Twentytwentyone has established itself as one of London’s foremost retailers of classic and contemporary design, supplying furniture, lighting and accessories from world leading designers and manufacturers. We are looking for an experienced assistant manager at out shop in Upper Street, Islington.
The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to think quickly and solve problems. The candidate will have knowledge and experience working in a similar environment in retail and design. The candidate will be an efficient and well organised multi-tasker, who has experience managing a team. We are looking for a team player happy to roll up their sleeves, with a very high attention to detail and the ability to self-manage and organise.
The position is full-time five days/37.5 a week 9.30am to 6.15pm, based at our shop in Upper Street with flexibility to work at various locations should business need arise.
The role will include:
- provide support to retail manager
- provide point of reference for customer service requests, and issues to ensure highest possible service levels are met
- oversee retail team to increase sales and meet monthly targets
- assist the retail manager with recruitment, training of staff and assist with rota
- provide customers with a well-informed, polite, friendly and high-quality service
- oversee sales procedures to fulfil customer orders from inception to delivery
- manage stock movements into and out of business
- communicate effectively company-wide
- maintain display and presentation of premises
