Twentytwentyone has established itself as one of London’s foremost retailers of classic and contemporary design, supplying furniture, lighting and accessories from world leading designers and manufacturers. We are looking for an experienced retail sales assistant at out shop in Upper Street, Islington.

The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to solve problems and think quickly. The candidate will have experience working in a similar environment in retail and design and will be an efficient and well organised multi-tasker. We are looking for a team player happy to roll up their sleeves, with a very high attention to detail and the ability to self-manage and organise.

The position is full-time 5 days/37.5 a week 9.30am to 6pm, based at our shop in Upper Street with flexibility to work at various locations should business need arise.

The role duties:

  • providing customers with a well-informed and high-quality customer service
  • developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
  • offering customers assistance with enquiries via telephone, email, and in-store
  • ensuring all processes from initial enquiry, order processing and through to delivery/installation are fulfilled efficiently
  • ensuring all material samples and sales materials are managed and available
  • supporting company during exhibitions and events
  • maintaining high standards of cleanliness on the shopfloor and stockrooms
  • maintaining lighting and furniture displays under the guidance of management
  • maintaining and monitoring stock levels
  • organising the stockroom areas and keeping it tidy and clean
  • ensuring all products on display are priced correctly and relevant product information is displayed
  • supervising incoming and outgoing goods and the procedure for hire/loan of goods
  • managing the price lists and sales support information/materials and stock lists
  • organising deliveries and correct installation methods where necessary
  • providing a high level of communication regarding orders and enquiries between colleagues
  • communicating customer feedback to retail manager
