Marek Wojciechowski Architects is seeking a studio coordinator to join its team in London.
We are seeking a studio coordinator to join our architecture practice based in Fitzrovia. This is a key role which offers an opportunity to grow with us and to take ownership of the day-to-day management and organisation of our practice. We are looking for a highly organised self-starter that will be responsible for the planning and implementing of a social media schedule. Previous experience working within an architectural or design office is desirable but not essential.
Duties will include, but are not limited to
Office maintenance:
- ensuring the day-to-day efficiency of the office is running smoothly
- managing office consumables (stationery, office and kitchen supplies)
- overseeing of office equipment and ensuring maintenance is carried out on a timely basis
Administration:
- database and archive management
- carrying out general administration
- telephone and reception duties and general email enquires
- ensuring company policies are maintained
- ad hoc duties as and when required
Marketing/social media:
- social media ideas generation and management
- LinkedIn and Instagram updates
- upload projects to Pinterest page
HR support:
- coordinating staff holiday requests
- reviewing job applications and setting up interviews
- overseeing the onboarding, introduction and training of new staff
Requirements:
- the position requires candidates with several years experience, and a good understanding of the role of social media. It would particularly suit someone in the early stages of their career
- you are likely to be highly organised and you will be comfortable problem solving and decision making
- you will be happy to work in a team environment and equally, have the confidence to work using your own initiative
- you will also be confident proposing and managing a social media strategy for the studio
- organisational skills and computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office platforms
- you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ideally with previous experience working in or supporting the marketing function
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a prerequisite
Salary will be dependent on experience and skills level.
