Head of interior design

TGP International is hiring a head of interior design to join its team in London.
Become an integral part of a growing company developing the hospitality brands of tomorrow. We’re looking for a passionate, intelligent senior designer to lead a team and impress clients. You could be a highly capable senior ready to guide others, or a design director looking for greater responsibility and connection to clients. Ideally you will have experience in a fast paced and demanding environment within the hotel, retail or hospitality sectors.
Your work with us will fundamentally shape client businesses and help existing businesses expand internationally. We design hospitality brands and places across the world, always striving to achieve design excellence whilst delivering spaces that preform operationally and are commercially successful for our clients.

We’re looking for someone exceptional who can:
- take responsibility for turning client briefs into exciting world class designs regardless of service sector or budget
- enjoys working with a multidisciplinary team and comfortable leaning on them to bring in expertise when required
- mange large volumes of projects through delegation and organisation and not be phased by re-direction or a change of priorities
- an ability to direct and lead teams across different countries and time zones
- simplify complex information into compelling ideas and arguments. Listen well. Ask the right questions. Challenge client/team thinking where appropriate
- motivate others; maintain effective processes for nurturing projects
- present with authority and enthusiasm
- develop strong relationships with clients
- a leader who can develop junior team members and direct seniors/suppliers
- comfortable with international travel and sensitive to different cultures
