Dualchas Architects is looking for an architect to join its studio in Isle of Skye, UK.
We are an award winning architectural practice, based on the Isle of Skye and in Glasgow. We work throughout Scotland and further afield, creating sensitively designed architecture in remote and stunning rural locations. Our projects are largely private residential, although we also have a number of other interesting projects relating to tourism, craft business and community development.
We are looking for an architect who can work well within a small team, running individual projects and also assisting others when required.
Ideal candidates will have:
- a minimum of two years professional experience with ARB registration
- evidence of excellent design skills and attention to detail
- experience of detailing and technical knowledge
- experience of contract administration and dealing with projects on site
- a positive attitude and be self-motivated, as well as being a team player
- effective time management and ability to work to deadlines
- ability to use Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp.
- A driving license would also be advantageous
