London, UK
Senior interior designer
at AW Spaces
AW Spaces is seeking a senior interior designer to join its team in London.
If you’re a senior interior designer with experience in leading your own projects, you have exceptional creativity, you want to make a difference in a fast growing team, you’re based in the southeast of England (not essential but the role will require a mix of WFH and working in our Gatwick studio) and you love sustainability in design, then please get in touch!
Requirements:
- lead your own projects working closely with the client to take the brief
- we don’t have a ‘house style’ and encourage freedom to design outside of the box with original, unconventional, unique, one-off ideas
- you need to have excellent spaceplanning skills, an ability to convey your concept design through hand sketching, SketchUp or CGIs (we work with external visualisers) and an understanding of technical design to be able to demonstrate how your ideas and designs can be feasibly built
- you’ll be joining a young, driven team based predominantly in our Gatwick studio
- a typical week will include a blend of WFH and studio based work – as well as a number of client meetings/pitches in London and across the southeast
- we have two main sectors we work within – workplace and education. Within the workplace sector we focus on creative and tech industries who want unique design. Within the education sector we focus on key areas of schools such as receptions, laboratories, libraries and sixth form – again where design is appreciated
- experience in workplace design is preferable but not a deal breaker if you can demonstrate high levels of creativity in your portfolio that we feel could be transferred to workspace/education design
- generous salary with profit share scheme and other company benefits/perks
