A-Zero Architects is seeking an enthusiastic architectural assistant to join its team in London.
A-Zero Architects is a RIBA chartered practice based in London. Founded in 2010, our work focusses on designing and procuring buildings in a way which does not have an adverse impact on the environment.
Our projects range from residential to commercial to cultural. We work on new buildings, old buildings put to new uses and existing buildings extended, contracted and reconfigured.
We work with our clients through all stages of a project, from feasibility, planning, detailed design, tendering, through to contract administration during construction. We aim to embed environmental considerations through all these stages, combining functional, cost effective architecture with a sense of specificity to the client and the place.
Both of the directors, Giles and Ingrid are teaching at AA School and CSM, and there is a strong relationship between academia and practicing architecture in this practice.
We are looking for a Part 2 environmental architectural assistant with the following skill sets:
- RIBA Part 2 or equivalent qualification in architecture.environment
- positive and friendly person with the ability to work closely as a team as well as work independently. Effective communication with clients and related parties.
- reliable, honest, organised, multi-tasker and eager to learn and share new ideas
- strong conceptual and design development skills as well as attention to details
- strong communication skill through drawings, imagery, 3D and physical models
- having experience in residential projects in the UK is a plus
- proficiency in AutoCAD/Rhinoceros/SketchUp/Adobe Suite and environmental analysis softwares. Experience in Revit is a plus
- excellency in English, both written and spoken
- available immediately
